today not tuned

This morning when I started the truck to go to work the radio came on.  It was not tuned in, nothing but static.  The very first thing that pop in my head was "that is how my life is, not tuned, lots of static." My second thought that came to me was, "time for a tune up."  Time for me to say what I want in my life and how I want my life to be.  Everything......................my relationship with my spouse is NUMBER ONE! Start with the most important.  It is worth it.  Then.............go from there.

Best Advice

I read this in a book the other day and wanted to pass it on. .

Advice given to a young girl from her old southern Granddaddy
"Be particular" He pronounced it "p'ticklar
Be particular.  That is, without a doubt, the Best Advice Ever Given in the History of the Entire World.  Consider, if you will, the profound effect that following advice would have on, say, your diet, your love life, your financial situation, your decision on whether to have that next drink.  I mean, what do those two words not cover?
